It appears that Inter and Manchester City have finally reached an agreement over the transfer of Mario Balotelli.
Sky Sport Italia reports that City will pay €30 million plus bonus add-ons to Inter, and that Balotelli will pen a five-year contract worth €4 million each year. With both teams set to meet this week in the U.S. I expect this deal to get done.
Roberto Mancini has been talking up Balotelli saying:
“He (Balotelli) is one of the four or five strikers that interest us. I was the first to believe in him and I’m convinced about what he can do. Mario has two qualities that suit us, his talent and his age, because I want people able to build a cycle at Manchester City.”
This is a good deal for Inter. Manchester City is the only club in the world that would have paid €30 million plus for Balotelli. The question know is whether Rafa gets to spend the €30 million on new players for the squad?
