Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi has confirmed the club have signed Inter youngster Jonathan Biabiany.
The 21-year-old Paris-born forward caught the eye of Ducali coach Francesco Guidolin whilst playing for Serie B side Modena last season. Biabiany was impressive, scoring three times in 18 appearances. Parma have been tracking the hitman and they beat off stiff competition to land his signature.
Ghirardi has now confirmed the deal has gone through.
“We are really happy as the striker is liked by Guidolin and he believes in the Parma project. We only want motivated people. We have done it and the operation is now closed.” the chief told Sky Sport Italia. We have always had an excellent relationship with Inter. Biabiany showed a strong will to come here.”
The details of the deal remain undisclosed so far.
