Valentino Rossi watched the Inter versus Novara game and didn’t really appreciate what he saw. During the match which Inter lost to the Piedmontese, the MotoGP champion (a big Inter fan) expressed his puzzlement via posts on Twitter.
“I wouldn’t like to be Moratti’s ashtray tonight,” commented Rossi at the final whistle. During the game the Ducati rider had already tweeted his opinions, including saying just after the winning goal, “I understand…the team in white are Real Madrid, not Novara.” A little later he was even more ironic: “Exchanging Eto’o for Forlan is the equivalent of changing Roberto Carlos for Pistone.” He also asked, “Why did we sell Thiago Motta?,” before commenting on Sneijder hitting the crossbar: “We’re jinxed right to the end…”. His final words were those of a true fan: “Even after the disappointment, FORZA INTER as always.”
