Inter Milan Transfer Rumors

Put the world’s best players in one place for a month and the rumors will start to fly about who is going where this summer. These are some of the rumors that I am hearing about Inter.

Outgoing:

Maicon to Real Madrid: I wrote about this yesterday with Inter and Real Madrid expected to agree on a deal worth around €30 million for the fullback. Odds on this deal happening are very high.

Wesley Sneijder to Manchester United: This is a new rumor that says Manchester United will make a £20 million bid for Sneijder. Sneijder was a huge part of Inter’s success last season and I think the odds of this transfer rumor become reality is very low.

Incoming:

Javier Mascherano: I will be shocked if this deal does not go through. Inter will bid around £25 million for Mascherano and the two clubs will settle on €30 million. So basically the money that Inter receives for Maicon will pay for Mascherano. Odds on this deal happening are very high.

Elano: Benitez is familiar with Elano who played in the Premier League with Manchester City. He plays on the left side of midfield which is an area that I thought that Inter needed to strengthen this summer. Cost to buy Elano would probably be around €10 million which I think is too high a price to pay for a player that I don’t think makes Inter’s starting eleven. Odds of happening are low.

Mirko Vucinic: The Roma striker is a potential Inter target, but I think you would have to see Milito or Eto’o leave before Rafa spent money on a striker. And I expect both of those players to be still wearing Inter Milan shirts next season. Odds of happening are very low.

Simon Kjaer: Kjaer is an up and coming center-half that a lot of big European clubs are tracking. Kjaer’s agent would like him to move to Inter, and I think he would be a great Inter signing for the future as Lucio and Samuel are not getting any younger. But I expect Kjaer to end up in the Premier League this summer and not at Inter. Odds on happening are very low.
