Inter Milan can win the first of a possible three titles tomorrow when they face AS Roma in the final of the Copa Italia. The Nerazzurrri who have been in superb form these last few weeks will be seeking to match Barca’s historic treble bagging the first of three titles tomorrow and in the process restore some pride to the Italian version of the beautiful game.
The match will kick-off at 2045 CET at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome (a venue i think might greatly favour Roma). I mean shouldn’t finals be played in a neutral stadium? Just think about it, if by any chance Roma win, then Inter would definitely not agree with that result.
This will be like a home match for Roma and if the Giallorosso come into the game with that mentality then they might just overcome the Inter onslaught that Jose Mourinho has prepared for them. Traditionally used as the home stadium for internationals, friendlies and other big games, the Stadio Olimpico might tomorrow become the envy of the nation at least as i predict.
Okay, enough about the pitch. Mourinho is expected to line up his squad in a 4-3-1-2 formation with Julio Cesar in goal, Maicon, Lucio, Samuel, Chivu or Cordoba in defense, Zanetti, Cambiasso and Motta in midfield with Sneidjer playing behind Eto’o and Milito.
Ranieri will counter that with a 4-2-3-1 formation where Julio Sergio will be in goal, Juan and Cassetti will be in defense, Burdisso, Riise, Pizarro, De Rossi, Menez, Perrotta, Vucinic will make up the diamond midfield while skipper Totti will play as the centre forward.
With Roma incensed at what they considered foul play in the Lazio-Inter match, tomorrow’s final is bound to be a mouthwatering game. Inter Milan definitely have what it takes to win the cup but i predict a penalty shoot out settling the winner. And as we all know, when it gets to this stage, a mixture of luck and nerves is all either team needs to win the match.

I agree that the stadium favor Roma. That is possibly a key reason why Roma is the biggest winner of TIM cup (9 times exactly) in Italian football history.
It will be a shame to the game if the FA continue to do nothing abt it.

inter can and will win the TIM cup albeit it si been played at the olympic stadium in rome. If Real M FC had reached the UEFA C L finals, they wd have played the finals at the b`Bernaneau.
Now we know the beginning of Inter milan’s treble, i’m sure that inter can reach it
