Inter Say No To Tevez Deal

by David on January 25, 2012

Inter have pulled out of the Carlos Tevez sweepstakes, seemingly paving the way for Tevez to go to AC Milan.

It seems that the return to form of Diego Milito has made Inter less desperate to add a big spending striker this month as Inter board member Marco Tronchetti Provera announced:

“Now we’re no longer interested in Tevez. He is following a different path. Inter have recovered their champions and there is no need to have him or another, even if Tevez remains a great champion.”

What do you think of Inter’s decision?

As I said in a previous comment Tevez was never the best option due to his age and lack of availability this season in cl but I again stress the point that Inter will need a striker this January as Forlan has proven to be injury prone and if God forbid Milito gets injured which is also likely Inter are left without a reliable striker as Pazzini is a poucher but cannot be effective enough in big games due to his lack of technical ability on the ball, Zarate and Castignos are also not up to the task for their own respective issues (age and mind) leaving Inter relying on playing 2 wingers and 1 striker Pazzini if Milito also gets injured which nullifies Sneijder….
