No surprise that Ivan Cordoba has handed in a transfer request so that he can join Mancini at Manchester City.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, Cordoba is in the process of speaking with president Massimo Moratti, and his plans for the future appear clear. He wants to leave and in order to be reunited with former coach Roberto Mancini at Eastlands.
Mancini will offer Cordoba the football he wants as well as three-year deal worth €2.8 million per season. As part of the deal, the Nerazzurri will receive a €5m cash injection in return for the stopper.
If Moratti is able to get €5m from Manchester City for Cordoba, that is a good bit of business by the Inter President.
