Just saw this. Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar crashed his Lamborghini near the San Siro on Sunday night, and is now in major doubt for Inter’s Champions League clash against Chelsea on Wednesday.
Sky Sport Italia reports the goalkeeper escaped without serious injury, but with bruising to his face after crashing his car near the San Siro area of Milan.
He turned up for training at Appiano Gentile on Monday morning, but he was sent home by Inter staff after being unable to train with the rest of the squad. The cause of the accident remains unknown.
Wow if Cesar has to miss the Chelsea game that is huge. Francesco Toldo is ok, but he is no Julio Cesar. That will swing the advantage to Chelsea.
