Mario about racism

Mario Balotelli, antipathy, the conceited, the antisocial, the rude epithets and who has more than it adds. Also because now his image, at 19, already seems hopelessly compromised. One wonders why a nice girl in his second season ‘Serious’ at high levels, the Under-21 striker and one of Italian football’s best prospects should be targeted in this way and become the subject of mockery or even insults. Easy shot at him, at his age does not have the strength to respond if not in a blatant provocation and certain misplaced. And the reference is not only to those that reserve their opponents on the field, aware that the act of reaction is just around the corner. Even the opposing sides have now elected common target, an astonishing fact considering that the animosity in the respect of fans joined fringes usually ‘enemy’. Social factor, in fact, Mario Balotelli. Even the color of his skin helps that much, given that the antipathy towards it often leads to racist insults and boos, since the passage is almost natural. Even today they are all discussing the uncivilized behavior of the fans who pour out on this guy by nature complicated their frustrations, as though offending them and shouted to the traditional ‘booing’ exorcise his talents and save the door to his goalkeeper.

After some inkling of which is relatively light, the real impact of racism is the problem arrived at Inter-Roma fans when he saw the red and yellow color Balotelli after they earned a penalty cleverly, allowing interaction of Reassemble the disadvantage of 1-3 at San Siro. Obviously, the person directly involved did not respond to ‘karma’, sotolineando their skill in transforming the penalty under the curve that whistled. From that day and the dust that is raised, many other similar incidents have concerned Balotelli (one over all, the trip to Turin against Juventus, an evening in which the attacker began to sign the momentary advantage Inter), up to and Cagliari, a land where never before had experienced a similar incident, confirming that the feelings towards SuperMario Riec transform negative sides even more correct. And no one say that the whistles I’ve never been (in Miami it is hard to hear, Cellino right …), it would be a falsehood.

Balotelli was enough to get on camera to become again the object of racist abuse, with a strong element of dissidents sent to the character itself. Similarly Eto’o has been reserved the same treatment, and no one claims that the Cameroonian is unpleasant. The first impact is in fact the color of his skin. No point in making the false moralism, the episode there was and is stigmatized, but we must take serious measures. Pause the game would have been an exemplary gesture, emblematic of an anti-racist stance on the part of our football. But that has not happened and the Italian Football Federation has been justified by appealing to the Regulation: “the suspension of a game for racist chanting can ‘only be decided on the instructions of the controller of public policy. The decision must then be communicated through the arbitrator The fourth man or an assistant. ” All right, these are the rgole. But where was Sunday afternoon, the manager of public policy? Had the headset in his ear and could hear the rain of boos that accompanied Balotelli and Eto’o? Now there is a danger of falling into banality when it is stressed that we must take action, which is an unacceptable attitude that only uanparte fans behave so and so. Meanwhile, however, for the umpteenth time, the omelet is done and not go back.

Another afternoon of frustration for Balotelli (very good, at last, to stay cool in the face and certain statements made about him) and a special welcome reserved for Eto’o, one of the fiercest fighters against racism. What is perplexing, however, is, as pointed out by Alessandra Mussolini, that the Judge has taken action against Mourinho Sports for an episode somewhat questionable, but flew over the conduct of the public Sardinian. Cagliari, which has no responsibility as a society, could overcome a one-match ban, a symbolic gesture that might have left their mark, but this has not happened. Not even a fine, so to speak. A clear message from the authorities: the fans believe and behave as they hope that whoever is responsible is hard of hearing …
