Mercato: Sevilla With Joke Opening Bid For Jovetic

According to ABC de Sevilla, Sevilla have made a €10m offer for Inter striker Stevan Jovetic, with his agent confirming that he wants to stay in Spain.

That will not get it done, as the exercise clause in the loan deal between the two clubs for the striker is €14m. Recently Inter and Suning technical director Walter Sabatini directorwas asked by ABC asked if there could be a discount on the €14m price.

“We are evaluating the situation, but I don’t think there will, because the player has interest on the market.”

That interest is reported to be coming from France where Marseille are said to be willing to meet Inter’s €14m valuation of the striker.

Jovetic’s agent though says that his client prefers Spain to France saying:

“Jovetic wants to stay at Sevilla.”

“It’s time for the two clubs to strike a deal.”

If Jovetic is to get his wish, then Sevilla have two weeks to raise another €4m, as Inter have to get this deal done by the end of the month.
