Wesley Sneijder Says He Is Staying At Inter Milan

Sometimes the definition of a successful transfer season is determined by who stays instead of what new players you sign.

So Inter’s summer got a whole lot better today with the news that Wesley Sneijder pledged his future to Inter saying:

“There’s a family atmosphere at Inter and the signs are that there’s plenty of success ahead. Milan is marvellous, picturesque – an elegant city; I love it.” Sneijder told the Inter website. “At the moment I’m extremely happy here and I don’t see any reason why I should leave.”

Sneijder was brilliant in 2009-2010, but suffered with injuries last season after playing in the World Cup and only scored 4 goals all season for Inter.

This summer he should be able to rest up and come back for next season completely healthy.

Sneijder is the best player at Inter and does not need to go. Inter need to bring some young players. 🙂
