Beppe Marotta is back from his trip to China to meet Suning and is reportedly already working on plans for the January Mercato.
Marotta spent the weekend in Nanjing meeting with Suning patron Zhang Jindong and his son, Inter President Steven Zhang, to discuss his role within the club.
The meetings apparently went well with the 61-year-old saying this about with Inter’s owners.
“Impressions? Positive. We’ll talk later,” he told reporters at Milan Malpensa airport.
According to Calcio e Finanza, Marotta will become Inter CEO for ‘sporting’ affairs, with Alessandro Antonello staying on for ‘administrative’ matters.
While the expects his appointment to be formalised ‘next week’ as opposed to after the Beneamata’s Derby d’Italia with Juve on December 7, Morotta represented Inter and today’s Lega Serie A meeting with CEO Alessandro Antonello
