Icardi Is Fourth Most Valued Player In Serie A

CIES Football Observatory has came out with their last player values, and they put a value of €92.5m on the Inter captain Mauro Icardi, making him the 32nd most valuable player in Europe and the fourth most valuable in Serie A.

According to CIES Football Observatory, Harry Kane has become the world most expensive player from a transfer value perspective according to the exclusive algorithm. Following his new outstanding season, the Englishman is now worth €201.2 million. Tottenham’s striker outranks two Paris St-Germain’s players: Neymar(€197.5 m) and Kylian Mbappé (€186.5 m).

In the top ten positions are players from six countries: England (Kane and Alli), Belgium (de Bruyne and Lukaku), Argentina (Messi and Dybala), France (Mbappéand Griezmann), Brazil (Neymar) and Egypt (Salah).

Surprisingly the Italian team with the most players is not Juventus. They only have two. It is Napoli and Roma with the most at four, followed by Lazio (2), Milan (2) and then Inter, Fiorentina and Torino with one each.

If the Radja Nainggolan transfer goes through as expected then Inter will double the number of players they have in the top 100.
