According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have turned down a £35m (€40m) bid from Manchester United for Ivan Perisic.
The winger has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for the last month, but the initial bid from the Premier League side has been rejected by Suning, as incoming boss Luciano Spalletti apparently views Perisic as an important part of his team next season.
Despite Suning’s reported willingness to spend big this summer, they do need to sell in order to balance their books and avoid further Financial Fair Play (FFP) sanctions.
That is why Di Marzio says Marcelo Brozovic, Jeison Murillo, Ever Banega and Andrea Ranocchia are all up for sale by Inter.
That puts pressure on Ausilio to sell so that Inter can buy this summer. Can he deliver the €80m that Inter need from the sales of the above players? Or will Inter be forced to eventually sell Perisic in order to bring in some new signings?
