The best supported team in Italy is going to be playing in front of even more fans next season. The prospect of watching Champions League football again has energized Inter fans and season ticket sales are soaring.
“Compared to this period in 2017, season tickets for the 2018-19 season are up 30% and the double-digit quota has been surpassed. And there is a clear reason for this: Inter’s transfer market has started with Luciano Spalletti signing three players in Stefan de Vrij, Lautaro Martinez and Kwadwo Asamoah before the period of proper negotiations has even started.
“The response from the public has been exciting. We are only in the first phase of the season ticket campaign, a phase that will end on Tuesday 12 June and which allows you to subscribe with a discount of up to 70%…
“For this reason, the club has also planned an extraordinary opening during the weekend at the ticket office of the Meazza stadium, open Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.”
Last season Inter led Serie A with an average home attendance of 57,529. Based on these ticket sales, an average attendance of over 60,000 is possible.
