Although he has departed the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for the second time in his coaching career, Mancini took to social media to wish the club all the best for the future.
Oggi termina il mio impegno professionale con l’Inter, soluzione condivisa con il Club in totale serenità.

The Coach and the club have agreed to part ways, and his successor is expected to be Frank De Boer, to be announced later today.
“Today, my career with Inter ends, a mutual agreement with the club that I’m calm about,” Mancini said via his official Twitter account. “I want to thank the Nerazzurri supporters, who with passion and loyalty have always supported me.
“I also want to thank the players who have been excellent, impeccable professionals over the past 20 months. Thanks to everyone who worked with me at Appiano as well as all at the club and the directors.
“I wish Inter and the fans a future full of happiness and hope they achieve their sporting targets.”
