Reports out of France suggest that Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Dalbert. The French champions are in the market for a new left-back, having recently sold Yuri Berchiche to Athletic Bilbao.
The Brazilian defender arrived at Inter last summer in a deal worth in excess of €20 million from Nice and despite appearing often in the first half of the season, he found himself frozen out of the lineup in the second half of the season having ultimately failed to deliver as expected.
But Dalbert has enjoyed a good pre-season with the Nerazzurri and could start the season as Inter’s left-back with Kwadwo Asamoah pushed further forward as a midfielder instead this year.
According to Sky Italia, if PSG come in with an accepted bid for Dalbert, that Inter would go back in for Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian.
The Italy international recently confirmed he wants to leave United, with a return to his homeland ‘probably’ his preferred choice.
Would you rather have Dalbert or Darmian at left back next season?
