Napoli and Inter Milan have agreed a €25million fee for Matteo Politano, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, but the player would still prefer a move to Roma.
With the Roma deal seemingly dead, Napoli have now jumped to the front of the queue for Politano, and are close to agreeing a €25m deal. Politano is now in discussions over personal terms with Napoli despite his preference to move to Roma.
Politano has been down this path with Napili before as was originally supposed to sign for them in 2018 but his move from Sassuolo collapsed at the final hurdle. Hopefully this time the deal gets completed.
Inter are desperate to sell Politano as Conte wants to sign Olivier Giroud from Chelsea, but Inter need to sell before they can buy in this transfer window.
