According to various reports, Inter have submitted a bid for Brescia talent Sandro Tonali of €15m plus performance-related bonuses.
The 18-year-old midfielder made his senior Italy debut in Tuesday’s friendly against the USA and has been generating a huge amount of attention this season thanks to his performances in Serie B and for the Under-21 side.
Tonali has said that he would prefer to stay in Italy” rather than move abroad with rules out potential rivals like Chelsea, Monaco and Manchester City.
As with most young Italian talent, Inter and battling with Juventus for Tonali’s signature with Inter said to have the inside track as the Bianconeri already have Rodrigo Bentancur.
According to FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are going full throttle for Tonali and have offered Brescia €15m plus bonuses.
It won’t be enough, as there had already been reports that Roma saw their bid of €12m plus €4m in bonuses turned down.
Brescia President Massimo Cellino has said he wants €25m for the teenage midfielder and is in no rush to sell.
