Last season Inter had the fourth-best attack in Serie A, scoring 66 goals over the course of the Serie A campaign, which was good for 1.7 goals per game according to WhoScored.com.
Since then Inter have added two exciting forwards in Lautaro Martinez (Racing Club) and Matteo Politano (Sassuolo). So it is a bit of a surprise to hear that Inter are linked with another striker.
That striker former Lazio star Keita Balde who joined Monaco last summer for €30 million where he scored eight goals in 23 Ligue 1 appearances.o.
Inter were linked with Balde then, but it appears they haven’t forgotten about their interest in the Senegal international.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Keita would join Inter on loan, with Antonio Candreva possibly going the other way
Keita currently holds a non-EU passport, which might explain why Inter suddenly opted not to complete their move for new Barcelona signing Arturo Vidal, as he would have prevented a move for the Monaco man from taking place.
What do you think of Keita Balde? Would he be a good signing?
