Next would be PSG star Angel Di Maria as PSG will try to sell Di Maria due to Finanical Fair Play problems, but again, his £36m valuation and high wages is probably beyond Sunig’s reach.
A more realistic option is Florian Thauvin of Olympique Marseille (£25m) and Shakthar Donetsk’s Marlos (£10m) is another option.
Close to home, Bologna’s Simone Verdi (£18m) is also said to be a target.
With the combination of Spalletti’s wish list plus the arrivals of Lautaro Martinez and Kwadwo Asamoah, it is clear that Inter’s attacking trio behind Icardi will look very different next season than it looked last season.
