I honestly thought that when I returned from vacation that deals would have been all completed. But it is clear that until Ivan Perisic is sold to Manchester United that Suning is not putting up the cash necessary to make the squad better.
But when the Perisic sale is completed, and it will be, here are the two signings that Inter have reportedly already lined up.
It’s a sellers market and one of the most over-priced players in Europe at the moment is Nice defender Dalbert. According to Transfermarkt.com, one of the best sites for player valuations, the 23-year-old is valued at €5m.
The Brazilian left back has expressed an interest in joining the Nerazzurri and Calciomercato.com has reported that Inter has offered €20 million plus bonuses turned down by the French side.
Nice President Jean-Pierre Rivère sells that if Inter want Dalbert that they will have to pay Dalbert’s €30m release clause and it appears that Inter is willing to do that!
Now that Lazio have reportedly vetoed a deal that would have sent Keita Balde Diao to Juventus, the Senegal international is expected now to join Inter.
Inter have had an offer of €22m plus €3m in bonuses turned down by Lazio who want Inter to match the €32m offer they have received for the forward from Premier League side West Ham United.
Inter have already agreed personal terms with the Senegal international, who will be paid €3m per year.
Last season, Balde scored 16 goals in 31 games and Inter view him as a younger and cheaper replacement for Perisic so expect a deal to happen once Perisic leaves for Manchester United.
