Joao Mario and his agents have made it crystal clear this summer that he only interested in returning to the English Premier League.
Last January he moved to West Ham on loan and managed to score two goals and an assist in his 13 games for the club.
According to reports in England and Italy both Everton and Leicester City have inquired about Joao Mario and the Portuguese midfielder is reportedly “unconvinced” by either offer.
With the way his career has gone off the rails since Portugal won Euro 2016 and his big money move to England this summer, you would think that he would take any offer that have him a chance to play every week in a top five league.
Premier League clubs throw money around like it is confetti, and a mid-table club like Everton and Leicester City, would give Joao Mario the opportunity to play every week and turn these appearances into a new big money contract.
Bit this season the transfer window will close early in England, as they have decided to set the deadline on the 9th of April, one day before the Premier League kicks off.
Which means that the clock is ticking on Joao Mario. He has to make a decision on returning to England or run the risk of Inter sending him to La Liga for the season.
