Matteo Politano will have his Napoli medical on Monday after a deal was agreed with Inter, on loan for €2.5m with obligation to buy for €19m.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the final terms of the deal were sorted out today and he will undergo the necessary tests on Monday.
He already had a medical last week with Roma, of course, but the swap with Leonardo Spinazzola was scrapped by Inter.
Napoli are believed to be paying €2.5m straight away for an 18-month loan period.
There is then the obligation to buy for a further €19m in July 2021, along with another €2m in potential bonuses.
Politano did not fit in with Antonio Conte’s 3-5-2 formation, but will be a valuable addition now that Gennaro Gattuso has switched to 4-3-3.
