Milito To Leave Inter At End Of Season

Inter Milan striker Diego Milito, whose contract is up at the end of season, will be returning to his native Argentina to finish out his career with Racing de Allevaneda.

Milito started his career with Racing, playing their between 1999 and 2004 before heading to Europe where he has a terrific career.

Milito Inter’s career has been blighted by injuries, but he was fully fit in 2010 and Inter fans will never forget his two goals in the Champions League final win over Bayern Munich. In his five years with Inter, Milito has scored a very respectable 77 goals in 154 appearances for Inter.

Milito has also played for Genoa in Serie A, as well as La Liga side Real Zaragoza during his European career. He will go down as one of Inter’s best players, largely in part to his performance in that treble winning side.
