Former Inter President Massimo Moratti calls Juventus “the strongest and most complete team in Italy”, but insists they get “sympathy” from referees.
The Bianconeri have won the Scudetto for the seventh season in a row, and the former patron was asked about their dominance of Italian football.
“Juventus are the strongest and most complete team in Italy,” Moratti admitted, speaking to Corriere della Sera.
“That’s also due to having the same ownership for so long. At the moment, given the situation of the national team, they represent Italian football.
“That means they have the respect and sympathy of those who work in Italian football – like the referees.”
