Mourinho Be Wary of Bayern

Celebrations in Milan definitely moved a notch higher when Inter Milan were crowned Italian champions yesterday. The Nerazzurri are now the second most successfully club in top flight Italian football after Juventus.

With the Champions League final yet to be played, Inter are on the verge of making history should they beat Bayern Munich this Saturday . However, realising that historic treble dream might not be as straight forward as i had previously thought.

I don’t know if its just me, but Bayern Munich are really starting to get me worried. Watching the Bavarians recent run of form in the Bundesliga made me realise that this might be one of the best finals in Champions League history. Just in case you did not know, Bayern are also chasing a treble after adding the German Cup onto their Bundesliga title this past weekend.

Bayern Munich beat Werder Bremen 4-0 on Saturday in  Berlin’s Olympic Stadium to pick up a second title after already securing their 22nd Bundesliga title earlier on in the month. Once again Dutch play maker Arjen Robben was on the score sheet as Bavarians romped to an emphatic victory.

I am sure that just like me, many are relishing the prospect of Dutch play makers Wesley Sneijder and Robben going up against each. Robben has been instrumental in Luis Van Gaal’s squad this season and he should be one of the players Mourinho keeps an eye on.

Another is striker Ivica Olic. The Croatian international has a knack of scoring in crucial matches and Saturday’s final should be no exception. Last but definitely not least Mourinho should ensure that German national Bastian Schweinsteiger is tightly marked.

If Mourinho addresses these issues adequately (like i expect he has), then Inter can be confident of adding yet another trophy to their cabinet.

Mou hav managed Robben at Chelsea and he know how to stop Robben from playing his usual game.

Lucio must play in the final cuz Materazzi is simply not good enough. I was rather irritated by Materazzi’s play acting and slow response to challenges. Too bad, Cordoba is injured too.
