There is quiet optimism amongst Inter fans that this could be the season that the Nerazzurri make it back to the Champions League. And that optimism has translated into more tickets sold. Inter have announced that season ticket sales have increased from 28,000 to 31,000 this season. That ties Inter with city rivals Milan, whose summer transfer window activity has seen ticket sales soar from 16,441 to the present 31,000.
Roma have also increased their season ticket holders, up 1,000 to 20,000, while Napoli’s remain all-but level on 5,888.
Atalanta, Benevento, Crotone, SPAL, Torino, Lazio, Udinese and Verona have all seen increases too.
Most other sides have remained on essentially the same level, with some slight decreases, with the exception of Fiorentina.
Viola fans are in conflict with the owning Della Valle family, and most of last season’s team was sold over the summer. As a result, 3,000 fewer season tickets have been sold, with 17,000 bought by fans for the current season.
