Milan Skriniar reassured fans he has no intention of leaving for Barcelona or Manchester United saying that “Inter are a big club.”
The defender has been a revelation since his move from Sampdoria and quickly became one of the best centre-backs in Serie A.
“I think the top three defenders in Serie A, not counting anyone at Inter, are Kalidou Koulibaly, Giorgio Chiellini and either Leonardo Bonucci or Kostas Manolas,” he told Sky Sport Italia.
“It’s going to be difficult against Juventus on Friday, but we are a great team and could’ve won away to Roma, so now we go to Turin determined to get the victory.
“Juve are very strong and won almost all their games, but we are just as strong and can win this.”
There are reports Skriniar has attracted interest from the likes of Barcelona and Manchester United.
“There are always going to be rumours about a big club looking for you, but Inter are a big club. The fans can relax, I am happy here.
“I feel that I am improving day by day, as there isn’t a single area where I couldn’t do better. I am not happy with the way I play now.
“In any case, it’s not important how I see myself, but how the fans and Coaches see me.”
