Milan Skriniar admits Inter “need to be more aggressive in our defending around the penalty area” after defeats to Barcelona and Juventus.
The Nerazzurri lost 2-1 midweek at Camp Nou and the same result this evening in the Derby d’Italia at San Siro.
“It has been a mixed week, because we played not badly in Barcelona and here tonight too. We kept the ball and created chances, but were unable to score the goals,” the defender told Sky Sport Italia.
“Juve are a strong side, we all knew that. We have a lot to improve and that’s the beauty of it, as we are constantly learning and developing.
“I think we need to be more aggressive in our defending around the penalty area, as Barcelona were very dangerous there too with their passes. We need to get closer to the forwards.”
