It’s a must win game for Inter on Thursday night against Southampton in the Europa League, and it looks like Frank de Boer is going to recall Marcelo Brozovic.
Brozovic has been left out in the cold by de Boer after his behaviour when substituted during the defeat to Hapoel Be’er Sheva in an earlier Europa League group stage fixture.
With both Geoffrey Kondogbia and Joao Mario unavailable for selection due to financial fair play regulations, the door is open for Brozovic to start against the Premier League side, after left the door open for the player earlier in the week.
There are also reports that Frank De Boer will drop Perisic for the Southampton match and bring in Éder as part of an attacking trident alongside Mauro Icardi and Antonio Candreva.
Éver Banega should also continue in his trequartista role behind Icardi, who seems set to retain a spot in the starting XI despite being embroiled in huge controversy during the past few days.
